Wednesday is once again curled up in a chair, flipping through her Spanish textbook. She has an exam coming up soon, but she's feeling fairly confident about it so the review is more out of habit than anything else.

The frown is because she's really rather unhappy about the fact her name in this language is miércoles. It sounds almost... perky.

There was a wizard emerging through the painting of the dogs to enter the Bar. He was dressed in his Persian-styled wizard robes again. If you happen to be sitting near the door this afternoon, just before it opens you might hear laughter. Something like the cackling of a mad scientist, if that mad scientist were very young, very female, and very Bulgarian.

This laughter is followed by shrieking, as the door is thrown open.

There is a teenage girl sitting in a booth, back against the wall and knees pulled up to her chest.

Wednesday has no book today, though there is a rather large, blue spider perched on her knees. She appears to be doing very little other than watching the bar and its patrons.

Hiding doesn't require much effort.

Tom heads over to Bar for a scotch.

Usually he comes in for a quick drink. Tonight he has a little more time to relax.

This is a bloody brilliant thing.
